Happy Valentines Day :]
It’s 1.11am now.
I’m not planning to celebrate Valentine’s Day today. It’s going to be another normal day for me. I have a job interview to go to in the afternoon.
Valentines day is slowly turning into such a big deal and it is now a tool for people to make money. Because some might argue that if you love someone, you will be willing to spend money on them.
I don’t agree.
Roses are beautiful. But they have thorns and they don’t last forever. On every other day, roses are expensive enough. On V-day itself, it is even more expensive.
Chocolates are sweet. But once you eat them, they’re gone forever. And who is to say that you can only enjoy chocolate on V-day itself?
So, let us all remember that V-day is not a day about spending money. It’s about spending time with our loved ones. Also, you don’t have to wait until V-day to spend quality time with people you love. Those people doesn’t have to be your significant other. They can be family or friends that you love dearly in your heart.
So attached or not, Happy Valentines Day to every single one of you out there.
Cherish your loved ones and don’t wait until V-day to say “I love you” :]
